Traditional manufacturing enjoys its sixth month of strong growth

Manufacturing continues a recent rising trend with the sector remaining strong nationally in March. The Australian Industry Group Australian Performance of Manufacturing Index (Australian PMI) registered a solid 57.5. Readings above 50 indicate expansion in activity and the greater the distance from 50 the stronger the growth.
