Majoor was charged with a single count of sexual intercourse with a person under care in February after a female student claimed she had sex with Majoor in sand dunes near Corrimal Beach before school on the morning of February 13 this year.
Police allege Majoor groomed the girl by sending her sexually explicit messages and images of his penis via Facebook and Snapchat in a series of exchanges that took place in the two days before the alleged sexual encounter.
The matter was reported to police 24 hours later and Majoor was arrested the following day at the East Corrimal home he shares with his parents.
He was refused bail in court and had the matter adjourned for six weeks for a brief of evidence to be served.
However, in court on Wednesday, prosecutors revealed they had laid a further charge against Majoor after receiving another complaint about alleged inappropriate behaviour by Majoor towards a student.
The teen alleges she had sex with Majoor sometime in November last year, while she was enrolled at the school. No further details of the alleged interaction were revealed in court.
Majoor’s lawyer, William Whitby, told the court the key issue at trial would be whether both teens had been under Majoor’s ‘care’, as stipulated by the legislation.
Majoor did not apply for bail on Wednesday and it was formally refused.
It is understood he had been due to make a fresh application however withdrew it upon learning of the fresh charge.
Majoor was suspended with pay after the first complaint was aired.
Outside school hours, Majoor was actively involved in the Illawarra community, with online profiles saying he taught holiday sports programs for primary school students, played for local cricket clubs and volunteered as a lifeguard.
The case has been adjourned to June 7.
