To put a value on these would be in the billions.
Why you would allow non responsible amateur groups access to plant and walk away and destroy these invaluable community assets beggars belief.
Not only did they practically destroy our world class beaches, reduce Puckys to a weed-infested disaster, destroy the view of the escarpment across the road at the innovation campus, destroy the 360-degree view at Hill 60 and wipe out the world class views of Lake Illawarra.
They destroyed the view at Sandon Point and stopped the passive use of the reserve area which the community had used for years.
It was only community action that stopped the view destruction from Sandon Point to Waniora Pt.
Come on council respect this environment and stop the huge bills the community have to pay to clean up the mess these environmental vandals are responsible for.

NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE
You never cease to let me down.
You continually ignore every request put forward by political members from this fabulous area - the Illawarra _ and defer funding in favor of winning seats in the western suburbs of Sydney.
You are running on a script which will release funding just prior to the next NSW State election due in March, 2019.
The bait - sorry funding – will include vote catchers such as the Unanderra Lift - which by the way is a safety concern, and another $1 million feasibility study for Albion Park Bypass.
As reported, the Illawarra appears to be suffering from an identity crisis when it comes to the NSW Government's definition of it's boundary lines, and should follow the planning department's definition - NOT local member's definition to ensure their own seats.

CAN’T STOP CLIMATE MOVEMENT
A decade ago Al Gore released his documentary An Inconvenient Truth that revealed human activity caused global warming.
It was well was received and welcomed by concerned scientists and the community.
Gore has now released an Inconvenient Truth Sequel.
The increase in world temperatures causing the ice caps to melt, the loss of Pacific islands, and extreme winter and summer temperatures confirmed Gore's truth.
He now addresses the obstacles to acting on that evidence. His documentary is subtitled 'Truth To Power'.
Twenty world nations met in Hamburg and agreed to the Paris Agreement to curb emissions.
President Trump refused to sign but many Americans have ignored him and are acting to curb global warming.
A minority of religious climate deniers in the government also oppose action to curb global warming.
Gore's message to Trump was, "No one person can stop the climate movement or the sustainability revolution - we are going to win no matter what Donald Trump tries to do".
And neither will a few blinkered religious right climate deniers who sit on parliament's backbench "stop the climate movement or the sustainability Revolution".

HOW ABOUT A CHANGE?
Memo NSW: Wayne Bennett doesn't mind coaching England and New Zealand against Australia, so why not NSW against Queensland? I'm sure a competitive Wayne will be up for the challenge.
