While the League Championship looks poised to be decided in the final round, Birkin maintains his team’s focus remains on the short term rather than the battle for the title.
“We haven’t really talked about it,” he said.
“Our processes haven’t changed and we have prepared for this game with South Coast United like we would every other week. Hopefully the rest will take care of itself.”
Olympic, who currently trail Bulli but just one point, can momentarily go top of the ladder with a win over United at PCYC.
Bulli play 24 hours later against Corrimal Rangers.
In other matches, Woonona Sharks host Wollongong United, Cringila Lions play Port Kembla and Kemblawarra Fury take on Picton Rangers.
