By booking their spot in the grand final with a win over Kemblawarra Fury last weekend, they've now given themselves every chance of completing a title treble in 2017.
It will be a huge achievement if they can get it done.
New coach Matt Bailey has already led them to a League Championship and Bert Bampton Cup crown this season.
A grand final win would be the cherry on top of a sensational campaign, in which Bulli also nearly made the FFA Cup main draw as well. Kemblawarra Fury or Port Kembla are now the only teams standing in Bulli’s way.
Neither side should be counted out.
Kemblawarra – while they might have been beaten by Bulli last weekend – have been here so many times before and are always going to be a force.
I also reckon Port have done a terrific job to get one win away from a grand final from fifth spot and Noel and Jasper Spencer deserve a fair bit of credit for that.
- WOLVES RECOGNISED
Yuzo Tashiro made a lot of people stand up and take notice in his first season with the Wolves.
And in my opinion, goalkeeper Justin Pasfield was by far the best gloveman across the whole season.
That’s why it was no surprise to see both of them named in the squad for NSW NPL Men’s 1 team of the year.
Yuzo deservedly earned a starting spot in the attacking third while Justin was named on the bench as the back-up keeper behind Rockdale’s Ante Covic.
