Corrimal growth could cause rail timetable change

Hundreds of houses planned for Corrimal could see a change to the rail timetable.

But it might not be the express stop some had been hoping for.

Last week it was reported that more than 700 homes may be going into two sites less than 200 metres from Corrimal station.

Transport for NSW did not directly respond to questions about whether such a sharp increase in homes would see an express stop brought in at some stage in the future.

“Transport for NSW is committed to providing the best possible services for customers and we will continue to monitor patronage and capacity data across the network to see how we can make further improvements for future growth areas,” a spokesman said.
