Did you buy a Lotto ticket at Wollongong’s Keira Street Newsagency in recent days?
An Illawarra resident, or a visitor to the region, is now $100,000 richer after winning the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot first prize on Thursday.
However, they are yet to discover the life-changing news.
The winning entry was not registered to a Players Club card, so NSW Lotteries has no way of contacting the winner.
Keira Street Newsagency owner Liming Guo said he was thrilled to have sold the winning entry.
“We are very happy - it’s great news to hear,” he declared.
“We have been telling all of our customers to check their tickets as we have a winner in town but they don’t know it yet!”
The winning ticketholder has been urged to contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible on 131 868 to claim their prize.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Elissa Lewis said she was eager to solve the Wollongong mystery and urged all players to check their tickets as soon as possible.
“You may not think it’s possible that you are holding the winning ticket, but if you purchased an unregistered Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot entry from Wollongong Newsagency, you’re in with a chance,” Ms Lewis said.
She reminded players of the importance of keeping their contact details up to date on their Players Club card.
