If fishing is the name of the game this Sunday then the Judbooley Pde platform at Windang is the spot.

With the days getting longer and warmer, it’s time to rig up the rod and make the most of the outdoors.
A fishing “come and try” day is being held, with how-to-fish workshops, casting competitions and showbags for both the keen and the beginning angler.
The state agency that regulates fishing, the Department of Primary Industries, is holding the events for what it calls Gone Fishing Day at various sites across NSW.
And the Department won’t even require you to have a licence to take part.
Fishing-related activities will be held for kids, including “touch tanks” to let them get up close to a sea creature. There will also be cooking classes for those who think they might go so far as to actually catch a fish.
The free activities are on from 9am-3pm at the Judbooley Pde foreshore, Windang (north side of the bridge). For more information see the DPI website or call 0428 768 704.
