“We’re three weeks into the season and it’s been a strong start, with the under sixes to under fourteens playing on Sundays at Fred Finch Park and the under 16s and 17s playing on Monday nights in the Macarthur competition.” Grant Vukasinovic from the Illawarra Baseball League said.
Although the season has commenced, Vukasinovic said that teams are always looking for players of all abilities to sign up.
“Every club, and there’s clubs from Fairy Meadow down to Shellharbour, is always looking for new kids, particularly in the under eights T-Ball and the Little League which is under 10 to 13s.
“It’s a great sport for kids to play, there are fantastic opportunities for growth and travel and we’d love to help kids along that journey.”
