Since 1961, SCE has helped their customers get the most from their processes and materials. It’s why they exist and what they do every day. From transport and logistics to quality quarried and recycled products SCE provides an end-to-end solution.
If it comes out of the ground or it can have a second life they move it, store it and more.
Whether it’s for the industrial, mining, manufacturing, civil construction or agricultural sectors, they deliver.
“In a nutshell, our purpose is to help our customers optimise the value of their processes and materials, to help them get more from less, and to reduce their waste and environmental impacts,” said managing director Michael Aubin.
Locally owned and operated, SCE is always looking for smart new ways to reduce waste and environmental impact for customers.
With resources becoming more precious and waste more costly, SCE’s innovation focus is on getting the maximum value out of their customers’ materials.

“We see the value and potential that comes through recycling – that’s why we’re one of the leading construction material manufacturers and suppliers,” Mr Aubin said.
SCE processes more than 300,000 tonnes of concrete and demolition waste annually through their Licenced Resource Recovery and ISO Accredited 14001 Environmental Facilities in Wollongong and Newcastle.
“Historically, this waste material was destined for landfill, but we are able to turn it into products for use in civil construction projects and road pavement materials. Importantly, we do not accept contaminated or hazardous goods,” Mr Aubin added.
SCE not only provides essential waste management and recycling services to local residents, businesses and councils in a way that meet strict EPA and legal requirements, they also conduct daily testing, above and beyond any regulatory requirements, to ensure the proper management and recycling of construction materials.
“We are committed to managing industrial waste reliably and responsibly.”
