The Canberra Capitals have slumped to the second worst losing streak in club history following another fourth quarter collapse against the Perth Lynx.
Canberra went into the final quarter with scores tied but only managed seven more points as they fell to an 89-76 defeat to Perth at the Bendat Basketball Centre on Thursday night.
Perth went on a stunning 21-0 run as they outscored the Capitals 50-25 following the main break, clinching their eighth win on the trot and extending their stay on top of the ladder.
It marks just the second time Canberra have fallen to 11 consecutive losses - the only other time being when they lost 21 straight games in 2015-16.
Jordan Hooper led the way for Canberra with 20 points and Abbey Wehrung managed an admirable 13 despite battling an ankle injury.
The Capitals are set to welcome back Mistie Bass for a crucial clash against a firing Liz Cambage and the Melbourne Boomers at Victoria's State Basketball Centre on Saturday.
