A registration evening will be held on Saturday, December 9, with a barbecue and a chance to meet players from the Illawarra Hawks between 4-6pm at the Illawarra Basketball Stadium in Gwynneville.
PCYC is seeking players to form mixed teams aged 11 to 14 years to take part in a six week social tournament starting January 13 and running each Saturday night until February 17.
PCYC Wollongong club manager Michael Jones said twilight tournaments was for “everyone regardless of their skills or experience”.
“It is an opportunity for young people who perhaps don’t play organised sport or want to try their hand at something to get involved,” Mr Jones said.
“A typical night will include a meal being served on arrival, a personal development workshop and chances to socialise with other young people in a safe and welcoming environment.”

The program is supported by the Rotary Club of Wollongong. Illawarra Hawks players will be helping out at the Rotary Club of Wollongong barbecue as part of the Santa Pub Crawl at the North Gong Hotel from 2-3.30 pm on Saturday afternoon.
