The ultra-marathon burns survivor shared the news in an email alongside two images of the newborn.
"Michael and I want to introduce you to someone… Meet Hakavi Hoskin," the 30-year-old wrote in a newsletter sent to fans.
"We'll be in this little newborn bubble for a few weeks, but we wanted to pop our heads out for a moment to share the news directly with you."
Pitt, along with fiance Michael Hoskins have actively documented her pregnancy journey on their social media accounts along with hilarious captions, including this week writing "#40weeks today. C'mon mate, #wherethebloodyhellareya?," alongside an image of her bump.
The couple first announced the pregnancy back in June, after finding out the happy news three days before she was to embark on a climb to the Everest Base Camp in Nepal, a trek she has since decided to cancel due to risk factors. She told 60 Minutes at the time that in disbelief she took seven pregnancy tests before informing Hoskins of the news.
Pitt who formerly worked as a mining engineer has spoken candidly throughout the years on the prospect of having children following her near-death experience while competing in an ultra marathon in Western Australia's Kimberleys. The philanthropist suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, documenting her recovery throughout the years, as well as in her book Unmasked.
