Illawarra’s newest networking group celebrated its first Christmas at M2 Kitchen in Wollongong on Wednesday as plans proceed for 2018.

The Illawarra Assistants Network held its first meeting at Peoplecare followed by others at the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach with guest speaker Neryl East and Centro CBD with a chief executive panel including Michael Bassingthwaighte, Diana Foye, David Potts, Ron DeJongh and Nicki Bowman.
Peoplecare executive assistant Laura Price said the first event for 2018 will be at Heyday on January 18. Speakers Lael Taylor and Melanie Sulburn, of Randstad, will talk about what employers look for in an assistant, resume and interview tips, how to ask for a raise and salary expectations in Wollongong. M2 Kitchen is the venue on March 13, CityBeach Function Centre on May 29 and SmartSpace Office at Wollongong Innovation Campus on July 29.
2018 may also include the first Illawarra Executive Assistant Awards.
