The night of personal development and networking for network members will see Lael Taylor and Melanie Silburn, of Randstad, discuss what employers look for in an assistant, resume and interview tips. They will also provide some useful tips on how to ask for a raise and salary expectations in the Wollongong area.
The Illawarra Assistants Network was initiated by executive assistants at Peoplecare to provide free events for people who work in the field across the region to get together and network. Many members have spoken to each other on the phone or exchanged emails but never met in person before coming to a network meeting.
M2 Kitchen will be the venue on March 13, CityBeach Function Centre on May 29 and SmartSpace Office at Wollongong Innovation Campus on July 29.
