Ziebell reached 110 not out off just 60 balls as he steered his side to an imposing first innings total of 3/190. The Cudgen local combined with Dubbo’s Jordan Moran for a second-wicket partnership of 142. Moran was run out for 50.
Illawarra’s Graeme Batty made his way to the crease late in the innings, managing an unbeaten six.
The total proved far too great for Queensland Country, who were bowled out for 151 in the 20th over. Captain Simon Keen did the damage with the ball, claiming 4/19 off his four overs. Cameron Suidgeest and Ben Mitchell each took two wickets.
Gerard Fox and James Spargo top scored for Queensland Country with 36 runs each.
NSW Country dominated the competition from the start, with the team going through the weekend undefeated. Their focus will now turn to the 50-over game as they look to make it two from two.
The championships continue on Tuesday with NSW Country facing East Asia Pacific.
