Following in the footsteps of two visits by Radiance of the Seas on October 30, 2016 and January 29, 2018 as well as two visits by Voyager of the Seas in the summer of 2016/17 the sister ship to Voyager arrives early at Port Kembla on Sunday March 18.
many of the 4200 passengers will arrive in the Wollongong Arts Precinct by a Premier Motor Service shuttle bus just before 9am on the 18th where they will be welcomed by up to 150 volunteer ambassadors as welcomers around the city.
Destination Wollongong and IRT Foundation continue to be impressed with the community response to cruise ship visits.
As is @cruisewollongong chair Councillor Leigh Colacino who said the volunteer welcomers were a real feather in the Wollongong cruise cap.
"It is very exciting, as always to have a ship coming into our port and Explorer coming on the 18th is no different," Cr Colacino said.
