Nate Ruddock has led Dapto to a combined Illawarra/South Coast under 14 premiership after an impressive 63 not out in last weekend’s grand final.

The batsman came to the crease with his team at 2-65 and fought hard to carry his bat and guide the side to 4-179 off 50 overs.
Wests tried hard in reply, but ultimately fell short of their target, bowled out for 109 in 46.2 overs. Noah King topped the scorecard for Wests with 45 runs.
It was a shared bowling effort by Dapto, with Hunter O’Donnell, Kias Thompson and Andy Magennis each taking two wickets.
The Dapto under 16s were unable to make it two from two, however, with the Canaries falling to Northern Districts.
Batting first, Dapto were bowled out for 80, with Jamie Phillipson claiming 3-22 off 10 overs for the Butchers. Sam Sharpe top-scored with 30.
The Northern Districts batsmen made light work of the run chase, reaching the target in just 15.4 overs. Sam Hobson and Aiden Cook were the chief destroyers, with Hobson reaching 26* and Cook 34* off just 20 balls.
Keira took out the Illawarra under 12 premiership with a comprehensive victory over Northern Districts Blue.
Captain Toby Rodwell 50* led the team to 159, with Joshua Garnero chipping in with an important 21. Eamon Doyle claimed three wickets, with Keegan White taking two.
White added 32 with the bat, however it was not enough to lead the side to victory, with Keira bowling the Butchers out for 92. Rodwell and Rayner Lewis each took two wickets for the Lions.
The weekend also saw finals in the B competitions, with Shellharbour defeating the Razorats in the Illawarra/South Coast under 16B final. Benjamin Lavendar hit a century for Shellharbour, while Jack McDonald took three wickets.
Northern Districts defeated Helensburgh in the Illawarra under 16B final, while Oak Flats defeated Corrimal in the Illawarra/South Coast under 14B final and Dapto defeated Keira in the Illawarra under 12B final.
