Coastal Strata is a property research company based in Shellharbour.
Hello Strata focused on advice designed to educate and inform strata owners and property industry professionals.
Episodes included ‘Levies – Your Questions Answered’, ‘Seven Steps To Buy a Strata Unit’ and ‘Pets - Help, I Need Permission ASAP’.
Coastal Strata’s managing director Craig Baylis, the show’s host, said after a hiatus it was relaunching this Thursday.
On the show, Mr Baylis refers to himself as a “straight-talking strata expert”.
He said the new show format would be more interview-based, and go behind-the-scenes of his day-to-day operations.
“The podcast started to great reviews from colleagues and we’ve been busier than ever,” he said.
“This (new format) should be easier to keep regular content by documenting the interesting aspects of my day, rather than just generating an episode for the sake of it.
“What I’m trying to do is get more on the front foot.
“Rather than just talking technical matters to strata managers, I want to talk to people who are buying units and vendors and see what their challenges are when buying and selling properties.
“Try and get some feedback on the front line and see if we can help solve their problems up-front.”
Mr Baylis said he found podcasting to be a great method to reach various audiences.
“You can consume it in a lot of ways and areas,” he said.
“If you're driving between appointments or at the gym you can just listen to it, and it’s a more passive way to consume the content, rather than demanding viewers’ eyes on your video.
“Everyone’s so busy these days; it’s just another way to get in front of people.”
