The Friends of Kiama Library have joined forces with the library and Kiama Council, to hold the second annual event.
Don't miss the official festival launch on May 11 from 7pm with best-selling author Nikki Gemmell at Kiama Library. Nikki is well known to book lovers and will provide an outstanding evening’s entertainment.
You will be entertained by popular and well-credentialed local and interstate authors, with a fun panel discussion for the last session on Saturday afternoon.
Speakers include Jim Eames, Nikki Gemmell, Sulari Gentill, Wendy Harmer, Jim Haynes, David Hunt, Catherine McKinnon and Barry Maitland.
Prices are as follows:
- Festival launch – $20.
- Saturday morning session – $20.
- Saturday afternoon session – $25.
- Saturday all day – $40.
Norfolk Room: 10am – Barry Maitland Scene of the Crime; 11am – Jamelle Wells The Court Reporter; 1.30pm – David Hunt “Girt” and True Girt : The Unauthorised History of Australia; 2.30pm – Sulari Gentill A Life of Crime.
Saddleback Room: 10am – Jim Eames QANTAS at War : The Highs and Lows of Aviation History; 11am – Catherine McKinnon Storyland; 1.30pm – Suzanne Leal The Teacher’s Secret; 2.30pm – Jim Haynes Great Australian Scams, Rorts and Cons; 3.30pm – Panel Discussion FAKE NEWS – Stranger than Fiction?
The Festival will conclude with a Gala Dinner on May 12 at The Pavilion from 7.30pm.
