The popular walking track, in Morton National Park, west of Ulladulla, reopened on April 24.
National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) employee Rob Perry said this iconic walking track is known as one of the best walks on the South Coast.
“The urgent repair works involved several flights with the NPWS helicopter to deliver materials,” Mr Perry said.
“The works occurred to the elevated platforms located near the summit but bad weather meant maintenance work took longer than expected.
“We thank park visitors and locals for their patience whilst the track and precinct was closed.”
Pigeon House Mountain Didthul has been given dual name status in recognition of its cultural significance to Aboriginal people on the South Coast.
