Nostalgia acts seem to be as popular as ever, founding member Graham Gould put it down to the hits.
“The songs – they just continue to evolve and people love live music – we see that all the time at our sell out shows we play around the world,” he told the Mercury.
Fans heading to Wollongong’s WIN Entertainment Centre on Thursday May 3 can expect to relive their youth through the sounds of I’m Not In Love, Dreadlock Holiday and Rubber Bullets. While it’s these melodies – and other hits – that Gould believes are the biggest legacy the group has imprinted on time.
“They’ve lasted the test of time,” he said.
Though Gould is in Australia without his former founders Eric Steward, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme, he said he and Godley have remained the best of buddies.
“We have worked on various projects over the years together and he has appeared with us on a few occasions,” Gould said.
