The Expo was initiated by a group of dedicated school career advisers back in 1981 and run by the Illawarra Career Advisers Network.
This year, Workplace Learning have taken on organising the Expo. “We are very excited as we have a record number of exhibitors and expect more than 4000 students to attend,” Workplace Learning CEO, Leanne Grogan said.
“Choosing a career path can be challenging - just deciding whether to go directly to a job or opt for further study can be a difficult decision to make. Having access to relevant information is essential. This is why the Expo is so important, it is bringing together in one place over 100 representatives from the majority of industry and further education sectors, it provides an opportunity to access current information.”
