The girls will be joined on the Central Coast by the under 15 girls team and under 18 boys.
The weekend marks the first of three straight weeks of junior country championships, with respective teams traveling to Armidale and Bathurst throughout the next fortnight.
This year marks the first time an under 15 girls competition will be held, with the Illawarra side to take part in a five-team tens competition alongside rivals including Hunter and Central Coast.
The under 17 girls enter the competition as heavy favourites after moving through the 2017 tournament undefeated and displaying impressive form at the recent All Girls Rugby Sevens Tournament in Hong Kong.
The under 18 boys team has been grouped in a tough Pool B and will take on Central North and Hunter in Saturday’s preliminary rounds.
