The Dogs waited five weeks, but did it in style on Saturday, posting 7.8 (50) and keeping Nowra-Albatross scoreless.
A three-goal final term sealed the win.
Bomaderry moved to second on the South Coast ladder with a 3.6 (24) to 2.4 (16) win over Kiama at Bonaira Oval. The Tigers failed to score in the opening term and trailed by three points at three-quarter time, before booting a crucial goal in the last.
Sophie Phillips was rated best-on-ground for the Tigers, while Nellie Hicks and Tennille Shirley were impressive for Kiama.
Elsewhere, The Wollongong Lions remained unbeaten at the top of the women’s ladder, with a hard-fought 2.2 (14) to 1.1 (7) win over Northern Districts.
Jessica Kiekebosch-Fitt and Marnie Switzer were the goalscorers.
