EPA names HMAS Albatross as source of Shoalhaven River PFAS contamination

Nowra fisho Alan Hoffman drops a line in the Shoalhaven River on Tuesday. He said he wasn’t concerned by the EPA's findings and the news wouldn't stop him fishing in the river.

Elevated levels of PFAS (per and poly fluoroalkyl) substances in the Shoalhaven River have come from HMAS Albatross, according to the Environment Protection Authority.
