9.15am: Lanes have just been reopened but there is still heavy traffic in the area.
9.11am: All northbound lanes on Springhill Road just past Masters Road are now closed.
9.09am: Northbound traffic remains heavy heading along Springhill Road, with vehicles lined back to the Five Islands Road intersection.
8:45am: Two of three northbound lanes remain closed on Springhill Road, just past Masters Road.
8:30am: Traffic is experience delays northbound into Wollongong after a two car accident near the corner of Springhill Road and Masters Road on Thursday morning.
One car is believed to have mounted a guard rail and rolled about 8:20am.
Emergency services are currently in attendance.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said a Triple 0 caller reported a vehicle ran into the back of a truck, resulting in the truck rolling.
The accident comes just hours after a 19-year-old male driver died after he crashed into a tree at Fairy Meadow early Thursday morning.
