A man has suffered a severe leg injury after he was hit by a car at Fairy Meadow on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to a car park off the Princes Highway about 5.40am after reports of an accident involving a car and a pedestrian.
Four ambulance units and a rescue helicopter responded to the incident.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the man, aged about 60, sustained a severe leg injury.
The man, who was conscious and breathing, was taken by road ambulance to the awaiting rescue helicopter at Guest Park.
He was flown to St George Hospital about 7.20am.
The spokesman was unable to elaborate on the man’s condition.
