They’re used to playing in top venues all around the country from The Enmore to the Tivoli and Festival Hall. But this year will be the first time rock trio Regurgitator will play a gig at an old Port Kembla service station.

The Kong Foo Sing and Black Bugs hit-makers will take the stage at an all ages show at the Servo Food Truck Bar on August 4. The show has already sold out, though bar booking agent Warren Wheeler said a handful of tickets will be available on the door.
It comes as this May marks 20 years since Polyester Girl was first released.
The Gurge will be the biggest act they’ve secured since opening in March, though other notables have also been locked in for future concerts – such as Rebecca Barnard of Rebecca’s Empire and Jodi Phillis of The Clouds.
“What we’re finding is acts are attracted to our ethos of an all ages, zero waste, safe space that celebrates diversity and promotes unity,” Wheeler said.
The former service station site on Wentworth Street was re-purposed by a collective of 12 friends who were passionate about creating an all inclusive arts venue.
Each week offers a mixture of diverse entertainment and food truck cuisine to people of all ages.
Who is Regurgitator?
Formed by three mates in 1994 as a side project to the other groups they were in, their quirky songs quickly proved they had the making for success.
Their debut studio album, Tu-Plang was released in May 1996; it was followed by Unit in November 1997 which was certified triple platinum. Unit won five categories at the ARIA Music Awards of 1998. They’ve since released another eight albums.
