A 21-year-old woman has been charged after a pedestrian was struck by a car and killed in Berry on Friday.

The driver of a Holden Astra hatchback drove to a nearby house and called police on Friday night after a 27-year-old man was struck on the Princes Highway about 11pm.
Witnesses rendered first aid to him until paramedics arrived, but the man died at the scene.

The driver was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital for mandatory testing.

She was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Nowra Local Court on July 2.
