The camp will run in addition to the West Ham Academy camp that runs annually and will see talented footballers provided with the opportunity to train under the tutelage of experience European junior development coaches.
IFA’s Mark Tyssen said the two camps will provide local footballers with potential exposure to international scouts.
“Players get the opportunity to come and train with and get coaching in the Illawarra from international coaches,” Tyssen said. “It’s a brilliant development opportunity, the camps will help players further develop their game and keep them on the path to becoming a better player.”
Attendees at the West Ham camp will have the chance to gain selection at the club’s annual Australian camp.
