Morning showers followed a stunning sunrise over Wollongong on Tuesday – although the skies cleared quickly, allowing the sun to reappear by early afternoon and helping the temperature reach a top of 17.7 degrees at Bellambi.
The mercury should climb by about one degree on Wednesday, with a forecast maximum of 19 in the city. Mostly sunny highs of 18 are expected on Thursday and Friday. The next mention of rain on Wollongong’s forecast is the slight chance of a shower late on Sunday.
