The good news follows the opening earlier this month of Adairs homeware and bed linen store in the Gateway Centre near David Jones, Mecca Maxima, T2, Peter Alexander and Swarovski.
The Criniti’s Group has announced its new 170 seat talian restaurant is on track to open next to Kinn Thai restaurant at street level on the West Keira side of Wollongong Central shopping centre prior to the weekend of July 14.
A spokesperson said Criniti’s was getting plenty of positive feedback about the restaurant coming.
“The opening is going well. We are eager to get it up and running. We are truly excited about the response. It something that people are really looking forward to.”
The fitout is well advanced and the new Wollongong workforce are undergoing extensive training.
Meanwhile the indoor golf course and cocktail bar called Holey Moley Golf Club will open on the lower level of the Gateway Cente on July 20. It will be able to accommodate up to 300 people at a time.
And a few blocks away signage is up for new Coffee Club facing Corrimal Street near the Crown Street intersection.
