Jeff Penza will again be on board Porky Pies, in the Benchmark 70 over 1900m, with the track rated a Heavy 9 on Tuesday night.
Three weeks ago, Porky Pies fought on gamely to finish third Chris Waller’s Jolly Honour and the Godolphin-trained Lauselle in a BM72 over 2000m at Randwick. And a Waller horse will again be the one to beat, with the world’s No.1-rated jockey Hugh Bowman aboard three-year-old gelding Ombudsman.
Waller has six horses in the field, with Tunero offered a chance to redeem himself after finishing 10th in the same race as Jolly Honour and Porky Pies.
Parker, who won the Group 1 Queensland Derby last month with Dark Dream, also has Invicta in the BM 75 (1580m), who won the Wingham Cup at Taree last start on soft going.
