The Homeless Hub has been located at 24 Kenny Street, Wollongong.
However, Wollongong Emergency Family Housing/the Wollongong Homeless Hub is moving.
From July 2, they will be located at 1/1 Young Street, Wollongong.

Mandy Booker, manager of Wollongong Emergency Family Housing and Wollongong Homeless Hub said they had reached the end of their current lease and needed to find a new home, which had been a challenging process for them.
The Homeless Hub recently estimated that on any given night there are about 1500 people homeless in the Illawarra.
Therefore, the Hub recently asked the community to “wrap up” for homelessness during the first week of winter and raise funds to support the Hub’s efforts.
‘Wrap Up Homelessness’, which took place from June 4 to 8, was also an initiative to raise awareness about individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
The Hub invited the public to host a fundraising day by wrapping up and wearing a scarf, shawl, wrap or beanie and collecting a gold coin donation at work, school, church/community group or sporting club.
As part of this week, the Hub also hosted the ‘Walk in My Shoes’ challenge.
Illawarra community leaders were challenged to spend 24 hours walking in the shoes of a homeless person.
Participants followed in the footsteps of previous Hub clients by being given a case scenario that replicated the experience as closely as possible.
Ms Booker said the ‘Walk in My Shoes’ challenge had exceeded their goal of $5000 raised, while the ‘Wrap Up Homelessness’ week had collected up to $3000.
