Wine ambassador Jane Ferrari is well known to general manager Sharon Arrow who describes her as very down to earth.
“She is an international ambassador for Australian wines, particularly Yalumba, and a fabulous storyteller,” Ms Arrow said.
Wine Communicators of Australia named Ms Ferrari as 2012 Wine Communicator of the Year for her global promotion and education of of Australian wine in general.
In 2004 she was the recipient of the Wyndham Hill Smith Award in recognition of the significant contribution to Yalumba. And in 2013 she received Yalumba’s highest honour by being named signatory for Yalumba’s The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz 2010.
Ms Ferrari’s knowledge about the heritage and culture of Yalumba and the Barossa is second to none. The lunch is also a chance for the Steelers to show its expanded and evolving menu
