The two sides will face off in the round of 32 matchup of one of the largest sports team competitions in the world.
The competition, contested since 1990, for girls aged 15 years and under sees over 400 teams from across Australia entering.
Both St Mary’s and Holy Spirit have a proud history in the championships, with St Mary’s finishing fourth overall in 2016, while Holy Spirit fell to Westfields Sports High in the final of the 2015 edition.
Holy Spirit won the South Coast region in 2017, however they are set for a tough encounter on Friday, with St Mary’s not conceding a goal during the opening three rounds of the competition.
The match will kickoff at 9am.
Edmund Rice College also remains in contention for the boys Cup.
