The Illawarra Future Directions Committee is a newly established networking group for emerging leaders within the property industry in the region.
The Future Directions Committee is part of the Property Council Illawarra and is run locally.
Michelle Guido, Property Council Illawarra regional director said the committee is a group of under 35-year-old’s who are working to provide a platform to network with like-minded contemporaries, meet new people in the industry and to further develop professional skill-sets.
“Future Directions advocates for the future leaders of the industry,” she said.
“The group is strengthening the future of the property industry, and allowing emerging leaders the opportunity to get ahead and pave a pathway to becoming a more significant player with the Property Council and the industry as a whole.”
A Future Directions event will take place on Thursday, July 12 at MMJ Wollongong (located on Regent Street) from 4.30pm.
The event will focus on the Shellharbour Marina and precinct, which is a joint project between Frasers Property Australia and Shellharbour City Council.
There will be a presentation from project director Glenn Colquhoun of Frasers Property at the event, as well as a Q&A panel session.
