Ex-WWE star Tenille Dashwood wrestles in Wollongong

Illawarra-based promotion Rock ‘n’ Roll Wrestling brought the hard-hitting, high-flying pro-wrestling action to Wollongong’s Snakepit on Saturday night.

The show was headlined by Tenille Dashwood, who performed in World Wrestling Entertainment as ‘Emma’, as part of the ‘It’s All About Me’ tour.

Having left WWE in 2017, the Australian-born performer wrestles under her real name on the independent circuit.

The 29-year-old said it had been at least seven years since she wrestled independently in Australia, with the Wollongong show marking her return to the local circuit.

The event also featured a host of Illawarra and Sydney-based performers, drawing a vocal, enthusiastic crowd.

“We thank Wollongong for supporting us once again, and stay tuned for our next big international performer,” Potter said.

Potter has previously booked ex-WWE star Ryback to appear at shows in Wollongong.
