‘Springhill’ has been owned by doctors, Louella and Tony Grattan-Smith for more than a decade.
They had major work done on the original brick veneer home.
They enlisted architect Howard Tanner to oversee an extension and renovation.
The boundaries were also re-drawn, bringing the new parcel to an idyllic five acres, including an orchard and chicken coop.
John Renouf of Drew Lindsay Real Estate is the selling agent.
He said there had been a “huge extension and facelift to the original cottage” and the property boasted fantastic views.
“They’ve added two pavilions, one of which contains a master bedroom suite and a large sitting room with open fire and views to the north,” he said.
He said the property could be a retreat for Sydney-siders, or a family home due to its many living areas.
