Former drummer of the group Simon Wright is part of a super group of musicians who will perform their biggest hits, also accompanied by the 30 Piece Symphony Orchestra. The tour is scheduled for Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Thirroul and Los Angeles.
The show – titled in recognition of AC/DC's fourth Australian album released in 1977 – will feature the hits from both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson era's.
Wright recorded three albums with AC/DC in the ‘80s including Fly On The Wall, Who Made Who and Blow Your Video.
Wright left the group in 1989 to join American heavy metal band, Dio.
He will be joined by Tim “Ripper” Owens of Judas Priest, founding bassist of Noiseworks Steve Balbi, James Morley of The Angels, Paul Christie of Mondo Rock plus Joel McDonald and Cynthia Gallie.
Audiences can expect to hear the orchestrated rock arrangements of classics like Highway To Hell, You Shook Me All Night, Whole Lotta Rosie and plus others during the two-hour concert production.
