The property at 10/11-13 Blackett Street, Wollongong has sold for $3.35 million.
Selling agent David Geary, director of residential sales at MMJ Wollongong said it had sold to a buyer from Sydney’s northern suburbs.
He said the building is tucked away enough to enjoy a quiet and peaceful lifestyle, but with North Beach and Wollongong Harbour a short walk away.
The penthouse boasts three living areas, four bedrooms and a defined eight-car garage, as well as an alfresco outdoor area that offers ocean and escarpment views.
The interiors flow over 260sqm, not including the full, wraparound balcony.
It was initially listed in the vicinity of the $3.9 million mark.
“It’s a penthouse that covers the whole floor; it’s probably one of the biggest penthouses in the city,” Mr Geary said.
“It’s spectacularly finished by interior designers from top to bottom; the highest-quality of everything, including double-glazing, installations.”
Other recent nearby sales have included a sub-penthouse apartment at 33/72 Cliff Road, which sold for $3.3 million earlier this year.
