After opening their account with a crushing win over Blacktown in the season opener, Bulli could only win one set against Brenan Park.
Without Glenn Knox in the line-up, teenager Tom Gallagher was out-gunned by Miladin Tepsic 6-2, 6-1.
Bulli’s No.2 seed Matt Mullane went down in an absorbing battle against Brenan Park’s Evan Ward, 7-6, 6-4. Dorian Hennequin fought back to level his match with Peter De Oliviera at a set each, but didn’t pick up a game in the third, going down 6-4, 4-6, 6-0.
Bulli, who face Canterbury-Bankstown in Sydney on Sunday, also went down in all three single-set doubles matches.
However, Bulli still second on the five-team Blackwell Cup standings on 13 points behind Brenan Park who have conceded just two sets in as many rounds to lead on 26.
