The activity was also a chance to highlight the upcoming Friends of The Disability Trust (FOTT) Fottloose night on August 17 at the Novotel.
The Disability Trust community connections coordinator Margaret Biggs said FOTT is made up of local business people who support The Disability Trust. She said the Groove Academy will be performing at the event which is designed to raise funds to support people with a disability in the Illawarra region.
“Dust off your denim, double denim if you dare, dress up and get ready for a great night full of dancing and lots of fun. Tickets can be booked at https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/fottloose-tickets-46551247033,” she said.
Fottloose comes just weeks after the 20th annual Wests Illawarra Gala Night that raised more than $100,000 for local children with disabilities.
