A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the car was travelling at low speed on Ash Avenue – around five to 10 kilometres per hour – when it hit the child. He said the injuries were not life threatening.
“There was reports of some facial bleeding, but the patient is conscious, breathing and alert and has been transported [to hospital] in a stable condition,” the spokesman said.
It’s unknown whether the boy was hit in a driveway or on the street.
