Last month, he called for the minister to catch one of the overcrowded four-car afternoon services to gain some firsthand experience of what South Coast commuters have to deal with.
On the floor of parliament on Wednesday night, he handed out another invite.

“Tonight I again ask and invite the Minister to get on the train and experience firsthand the concerns of the men and women who travel on this service every day, the people who have to stand for sustained periods—not for 20, 30, 40 or 50 minutes but for well in excess of an hour,” Mr Park said.
“In this way, he will see for himself firsthand what they are going through.”
Mr Park said extra carriages were urgently needed on these services to reduce the problems of overcrowding.
To date Mr Constance has declined to take up Mr Park’s invitation.
