Their finals hopes are done and dusted, but the Wollongong Wolves still have a huge part to play in the make up of the top-five heading into the last round of the NSW National Premier League campaign.
Wollongong travel to face Marconi Stallions on Sunday afternoon, who sit fifth in the league and need a win to seal their spot in the post-season.
The Stallions are level on points with Rockdale City Suns, but hold a superior goal difference by three ahead of the final league game. Rockdale will be favoured to get the points against last-placed Sydney FC in round 22.
Meanwhile, the Wolves will be looking to finish their season on a high note after falling to hit the heights they’d hoped in 2018.
The club officially lost Josh MacDonald during the week after the star attacker penned a one-year deal in the A-League with the Central Coast Mariners.
In the State League, South Coast Flame travel away to take on Hurstville at Seymour Shaw Park on Saturday.
