- A bushfire is burning in the vicinity of West Cambewarra Road, North Nowra.
- A grass fire burning off Mount Brandon Road at Jerrara has been downgraded to advice.
- An emergency warning is current for an out-of-control fire burning in the Mount Kingiman area west of Ulladulla
- A fire is burning off Porters Creek Road at Yatte Yattah, north of Milton.
- A grass fire at Berry has been extinguished.
On the trains, South Coast Line services have been suspended between Kiama and Bomaderry due to a grass fire. Bus companies are being contacted to run a replacement service.
A severe weather warning for damaging winds is current for the Illawarra.
Wind gusts of 109km/h and 104km/h have been recorded at Bellambi and Nowra, respectively, on Wednesday morning.
