SHAME ON NATION TURNING LEFT
If the PM gets his ‘influential’ way with the ridiculous NEG scheme et al, I, and my family, will never vote for the LPA again.

We have all been generational LPA voters since time immemorial, but have also had a gutful of the PM lurching the country further and further to the Left, which also diametrically opposes our Right of Centre values, beliefs and tenants.
The government’s leftist/kumbayah supporters may wish to grasp the PM’s hand as whole of government crashes over a political cliff leading to a 2019 general election election, but he won’t be taking former generational LPA supporters with him.
As each day passes - with the PM pulling the veritable ‘political strings’ - senators Bernardi or Hansen Party’s do become increasingly appealing.
BTW, everyone on the government’s side of the equation has also conveniently forgotten the reasons why they dumped them Opposition Leader Turnbull in the first instance for favour of Tony Abbott.
Shame on the lot of them.

COUNCILLORS IMPOSING THEIR AGENDA ON CITY
In response to the page 3 article by Kate McIlwain, "City flags a policy change" (Mercury, Monday August 13, 2018), this is just political correctness gone mad.
Wollongong Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery and the councilors need to make their minds.
A rainbow flag would indicate Wollongong is an LGBTIQ Council were as an Aboriginal flag would show Wollongong is an Aboriginal Council.
The Wollongong flag is meant to represent everyone in the Wollongong local government area.
Left-wing progressives enjoy talking about tolerance and acceptance, yet love pushing division within society and imposing their agenda.

THE OLD-FASHIONED SNAIL MAIL TRAIL
Last year had a package sent from Seattle USA to Wollongong.
Seattle to Sydney took four days, Sydney to Wollongong 7seven days.
I have just had a similar package sent from Seattle to Wollongong.
This time Seattle to Sydney took four days again, Sydney to Wollongong took 10 days this time.
A new record.
Australia Post charges are going up but delivery time is going backwards.
Ten days to go 50 km is ridiculous, even for Australia Post.

TIME TO GET A GRIP ON THIS REALITY
I'll bet that most people in this country are worried about where we are going.
We have no leader to speak of, but we do have a Stumbler who is intent on getting his own way regardless of what the voters want.
Power prices he turns a blind eye to, cost of living, the same, yet the farmers who fill the shelves for the public to eat.
Nothing for them in this drought of this century, wake up you that is deaf, dumb and blind.
Get a grip on this reality
