Money raised will go towards research into Vanishing White Matter Disease being conducted at the Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute.
Ten-year-old Chloe from Woonona is one of just seven Australian children – and 170 worldwide – battling the disease.
Event organiser Sarah Aquilina said it was a fun and entertaining afternoon with an “amazing vibe” and 510 attendees.
On Monday afternoon, she said funds were still being tallied.
However, she said they’d already raised more than $50,000, with a figure of about $55,000 looking likely.
In 2016 Chloe’s parents, Nyree and Grant, launched the Saving Chloe Saxby campaign.
